PARIS CHURCH PLANT

After a year in Marseille and going through the assessment center for church planting in Nashville, TN, we are excited to announce a new upcoming church plant in Paris, France with Pastors Ryan and Marita Caley. They are a dynamic couple, both powerful in ministry through teaching and preaching and making disciples. They have many years experience in university campus ministry in South Africa. As well, they planted a church in Johannesburg that they passed on to local leaders after 6 years. They have 2 sons Daniel and  Evan who are equally excited to be church planting with their parents. Since arriving in Marseille at our headquarters, they have been learning French, adapting to culture, and sharpening their ministry skills for the post-christian secular humanistic environment. Please pray for them as they start the church plant on the southern side of Paris with about 8 families, primarily professional rugby players. All things are possible!

For more information on this church plant, please contact Ryan or Marita.

Marseille Church

After 4 years of language and culture learning, evangelism and discipleship, we launched our first French church in Marseille called Every Nation Marseille. It is about 1/2 French and 1/2 international. It has been a wonderful and adventurous ride since September 2014. After seeing over many salvations, we have also seen great foundations laid. From meetings in cafes and jazz clubs to homes, we are now encouraged to have found a permanent location for our church moving forward. It will also house our upcoming Paragon Bilingual Mission Training Center. Thank you Jesus!

You can catchup with us at Facebook or on our French church website.

Culture Café:

As part of our ongoing outreach efforts, we have launched a cultural café for connecting with the community. Whereas we run it as a business, we host seminars, cultural events, and kids camps so that we may better touch our community.

Student Ministry

We have an on-going outreach to university students in Marseille through regular evangelism and bible studies. The University of Aix-Marseille is the largest university in the francophone world, and many of these students will become leaders in their communities. Reaching these students while they are hungry for truth and open to God is a key long-term strategy for seeing the kingdom of God manifest in the French-speaking world.

Reaching the Poor and Prostitutes In Matthew 25 34-36 Jesus says, “Then the King will say to those on His right, ‘Come, you who are blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.  For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in;  naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me.’

Our regular work in the brothels and on the streets to consciously reach out to the poor and the prostitutes in our area is an example of these verses. It is amazing how open these people are to God’s love in practical ways. Through this ministry, the poor and prostitutes become disciples of Jesus get the training they need for employment and re-integration into society.

Muslim Ministry

With over 1/3 of Marseille being Muslim, one can see a strategy for being here. God has called us to win them one at a time through natural relationships. It is amazing to see how hungry and open the young Muslims are to discovering the real Jesus. God is doing amazing things among these people, and Paragon Ministries is honored to do its part.
